On March 2, 2026, the Polish Ministry of Finance launched a new educational initiative titled “KSeF – training for the industry,” aimed at helping businesses prepare for the implementation and practical use of the National e-Invoice System (KSeF). The program, to be implemented by the Tax Administration offices, is designed to address the growing need for sector-specific guidance by tailoring training sessions to the operational realities of different industries rather than providing only general system explanations.
KSeF Training Program
As a way to ensure broader accessibility, the Ministry of Finance decided that the training program would be delivered through central and local training. Central trainings will be conducted online throughout March every weekday, with each session dedicated to a single industry.
During these training sessions, participants will receive explanations on how KSeF works in practice within a given sector, covering key compliance obligations and exclusions, system access and authorization procedures, the use of tokens and certificates, invoice processing within KSeF, available free tools provided by the Ministry, and practical steps companies should take to prepare for mandatory e-invoicing.
At the same time, local industry training will be organized across all regions in the country. Tax Administration offices will host in-person and online meetings, while Tax Administration chambers will provide online sessions. Schedules and registration information are published on the KSeF portal and on regional Tax Administration websites, allowing businesses to participate through channels most convenient for them.
Simultaneously, the existing “Wednesdays with KSeF” free training sessions, which, as a general educational track, offer condensed guidance for businesses that have not yet attended earlier trainings or wish to reinforce their understanding, will continue until April 29, 2026. The Ministry developed this program to cover all essential information about KSeF, including who must use the system, applicable deadlines and exemptions, access and authorization procedures, technical tools, and organizational preparation for implementation.
Conclusion
The launch of industry-focused KSeF trainings is the continuation of the Ministry's work to raise awareness and simplify the implementation of mandatory e-invoicing for all in-scope taxable persons and the Tax Administration. Ultimately, the combination of sector-specific guidance and KSeF essentials should increase business readiness for compliance with new requirements.
