VAT in the Digital Age sets the 2030 finish line

Adopted 11 March 2025, ViDA removed the requirement for member states to seek EU approval before mandating domestic e-invoicing — which is why national deadlines are now clustering around 2026–2028. Two EU-wide dates anchor everything below.
